Screencast: Samurai offers pen-testing nirvana

Every information security pro should be familar with the basics of penetration testing, but figuring out which tools to use and taking the time to build each one can be a tedious process. So why not use a whole bunch of different pen-testing tools in one convenient package?

In this month's SearchSecurity.com screencast, Peter Giannoulis of The Academy Home and The Academy Pro demonstrates the Samurai Web Testing Framework, a free, live Linux distro pre-configured to function as a stand-alone Web pen-testing environment that has numerous tools like Maltego and Nmap built in.

Below, Peter shows how to install and use SamuraiWTF not only as an ISO image, but also as a virtual machine.
