offer a security services suite to Indian enterprises. According to Raghu Raman, the chief executive officer of MSSG, these new services are a result of the realization that organizations juggle between different service providers for professional security services. It also becomes complex to manage service providers for security requirements, as each provider tries to protect its own interests.
As part of the new initiative, a joint team which consists of members from both companies will work with client organizations at all times. "For example, if a Tata Communications team provides the technology back-end, we provide the interface's front-end. Tata Communications can conduct hardening, whereas we perform vulnerability assessment and penetration testing," Raman explains.
Tata Communication specialises in electronic data security, disaster recovery, internet clean pipe, managed intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, managed distributed denial of service detection and mitigation services. MSSG specialises in physical security, security architecture consultancy and vulnerability assessment penetration testing.
